Biography

Paras Dogra has been one of the most prolific batsmen in the Indian domestic circuit. His only drawback has been that he represents a team like Himachal Pradesh, which do not have much to boast for, making his contributions fade away from limelight. The right-handed batsman has been representing the northern state since 2001 and has amassed more than 6000 runs so far. With 20 first class centuries to his name, Dogra has been a pillar of strength for the team.

Dogra impressed during his stay at the Rajasthan team during 2010 IPL but in the subsequent seasons, he could not become a permanent face for teams like Punjab and Kolkata. In the 2016 IPL season, Dogra would have hoped to get a game after he was picked up at his base price of INR 10 lakhs by Gujarat but all he could do was warm the bench.
