Biography

23-year-old James Bazley is an Australian all-rounder who made his first-class debut for Cricket Australia XI back in 2015 against West Indies in one of the tour matches. Being only 20 at that time, it was a memorable debut for Bazley has he got the wickets of both West Indian openers in the first innings. His debut got even better as James followed it up an impressive fifty batting at number 7.

In 2014, James Bazley earned a rookie contract with Queensland Bulls as he had an inspiring Under19 World Cup for Australia where he bagged nine wickets and had a decent average of 25 with the bat. The all-rounder also played a T20 match for Cricket Australia XI against the South Africans in 2014, but couldn't really handle the pressure in that particular game. James bowled only one over where he conceded 16 runs and was bowled for a duck while he came in to bat.

He has played considerably for Queensland Under23 in recent times but is yet to play for the Bulls in the Sheffield Shield tournament. Being close to 6'5\" tall, if Bazley works on his pace, he can be one of the upcoming all-rounders for Australia. But it's going to be tough for him, looking at the pool of talent in the country.
