Biography

Jatin Saxena has been around in the Indian domestic circuit for a long time now, having made his debut close to two decades ago in the 2001-02 season. Predominantly an attacking middle order batsman who also bowls useful leg breaks, Saxena has more primarily successful in white-ball cricket for his state Madhya Pradesh. In the longer format, Jatin's numbers have been underwhelming to say the least. His gameplay and nature of skills makes him a combative cricketer for limited-overs, as he has shown over the years. After a long toil, he has finally landed an IPL contract, courtesy the Rajasthan Royals. His younger brother Jalaj Saxena has been a more renowned name in recent years for his all-round skills. The older Saxena will be keen to make a mark in the IPL if given an opportunity. Jatin continues to be an able player for the Madhya Pradesh limited-overs side.
