Biography

Danielle Wyatt made her debut for England at the age of 19 against India in 2010. She is a multi-faceted cricketer who is equally good with both bat and ball in hand. She bowls off-spin and bats in the top-order. Danielle is one of those modern-day cricketers whose skill set are only suited for white ball cricket and she hasn't figured in Test cricket yet.

Wyatt had some issue with her bowling action and it took her 3 years to get that sorted, as she was unable to bowl for three years between 2013-2016. But that did not affect her place in the team. And she remained a valuable member of the England team because of her power-hitting.

She moved to Sussex from Nottinghamshire in 2016 after having represented Staffordshire since 2005 from the age of 14. In 2017 she was a part of England's World Cup winning squad but lost her place due to inconsistency halfway through the tournament. The next few years has been marred by indifferent performances even though she has travelled around the world as a T20 player representing various franchisees.
