A tall and lanky left-arm spinner that idolises Ravindra Jadeja, Vicky Ostwal hails from Lonavala in Maharashtra. Part of India's U19 World Cup winning team in 2022, Ostwal first made highlights when he dismantled South Africa U19's batting line-up after claiming figures of 5-28 in 10 overs. He was instrumental in India's run to the final and eventual victory and ended as their leading wicket taker with 12 scalps from just 6 games.
He broke out into Maharashtra's domestic side in 2022 and made his debut in all three formats. He was bought by the Delhi Capitals in 2022 for his base price of INR 20 lakh.
