Biography
Georgia Voll has made a quick ascent in the world of cricket and is Australian cricket’s next big batting sensation. She was into sports from a young age and played rugby as well at school level, before settling in on cricket.
Hailing from the small town of Toowoomba in Queensland and got her first opportunity in the Women’s Big Bash through Queensland Fire. However, it was when she switched over to Brisbane Heat that Voll thrived in the BBL. She got her maiden call up for the ODI series against India in the Aussie summer of 2024. Voll scored a century in just her second ODI, and was subsequently picked for the T20s as well, and later in the only Test for the Women’s Ashes. She was an integral part of that Women’s Ashes squad where Australia claimed a 16-0 win.
Voll was roped in for the 2025 Women’s Premier League as well off the back of her International successes. She was picked by UP Warriorz as a replacement for Chamari Athapaththu.
