Biography

Jayden Seales is a swing and seam bowler from Trinidad who has put in some impressive performances for West Indies in both ODI and Test cricket. He rose to prominence after picking up 10 wickets in the 2020 U19 World Cup, getting called up to the Test squad shortly after. In 2021, he put in a Man of the Match performance against Pakistan, returning figures of 5/55 as West Indies claimed a thrilling Test win. In 2022, Seales made his ODI debut away against Netherlands, and has been playing on and off for the Men in Maroon since then. In 2024, Seales signed with Sussex and played a few county games for them, before linking up with the West Indies squad for their away series against England. Although they lost the series 3-0, Seales’ bowling was pretty impressive in all three Tests.
