Biography
There are a very few players who have hit six sixes in an over and Priyansh Arya belongs to that elite category. During the Delhi Premier League encounter between South Delhi Superstarz and North Delhi Strikers, Arya hit six sixes against left-arm spinner Manan Bhardwaj and entered the record books. A dashing and explosive top-order batsman, Arya scored 120 off 50 deliveries as the South Delhi Superstarz scored 308/5 in 20 overs. He was involved in a massive 286-run stand with Ayush Badoni who scored 165 off 55 in the same match. It was a monumental effort by the two young stars from Delhi. Priyansh Arya was also the leading run-scorer of the inaugural season of Delhi Premier League where he amassed more than 600 runs.
