Biography
Cousin brother of Punjab Ranji cricketer, Anmolpreet Singh, Prabhsimran Singh is an explosive wicket-keeper batsman and started playing serious cricket at a tender age of 8. He scored a truckload of runs for Punjab at different age groups and presented his case for the India U-19 selection. However, Prabhsimran suffered a set-back when he was ignored by the selectors for the Sri Lanka tour in August 2018.
He never buckled though, put in the hard yards and grabbed the attention of the selectors by carting a magnificent 298 in the Punjab U-23 district tournament for Patiala and his wait for the national call-up finally ended when was roped into the team for the ACC U-19 Asia Cup. Prabhsimran was also picked for a whopping 4.8 crore by Punjab Kings at the 2019 auction.
A prolific run getter in white ball cricket domestic cricket, Prabhsimran has been round the block for a while now in the IPL as well, but is yet to really make a mark.
