Biography
Saima Thakor is a genuine seam and swing bowler hailing from Mumbai, India. She played football as well as cricket in her college days, eventually settling for the latter. Thakor was a consistent performer in the domestic circuit, and her talent was eventually spotted by UP Warriorz who picked her up at base price for the 2024 WPL.
Thakor had a decent debut season in the WPL, and got called up to the Indian team a few months later. She made her debut against New Zealand in October, 2024 and has since played games against West Indies as well. Apart from her bowling, Thakor can be handy with the bat as well lower down the order.
