Jack Edwards, 18-year-old right-handed opening batsman caught the attention of one and all by becoming the youngest cricketer to score a century in Australian 50-over domestic cricket. He represents New South Wales and his eye-catching knock came against Queensland when his team were in a spot of bother while chasing 300.
He impressed at the under-17 championship and then played some crucial innings for Cricket Australia at the under-19 level. He is touted as a technically sound batsman who is naturally a good timer of the cricket ball.
