We witnessed a couple of contrasting games today. Earlier in the day, the Invincibles held their nerves to notch up a 3-run win over the Originals. It turned out to be a no contest at Edgbaston tonight as the Superchargers were hammered by Phoenix. Join us tomorrow as well as we will bring you some more fast-paced action from the Hundred. Until next time, goodbye and cheers!
Moeen Ali: Amazing job done by the bowlers, there was a bit in them for them and every bowler did well. They bowled test match lines and length, bowled with a attacking mindset, and it worked for them.
Tim Southee: We assessed conditions reasonably quickly and pretty clinical performance all around. It's nice and great team to be a part of. Nice to chalk up a win along the way. A win is always nice, can do wonders to our confidence. We go to a different ground and a different team, no easy matches in this competition. Enjoy today, leave it behind and as I said earlier, different team, different ground and turn up and perform on the given day.
20:23 Local Time, 19:23 GMT, 00:53 IST: Phoenix have pulled off the fastest ever run-chase in the Men's Hundred history. The hosts have stamped their authority tonight.
