Both teams have three games left. But Southern Brave look a well-oiled outfit. I will stick out my neck and say that they are one of the prime contenders for the Trophy this season. They are sitting pretty at the top now. But Welsh need wins from here. One more loss and it will be very detrimental to their chances of making it to the top four. We will keep getting you all the updates from the hundred. Time for us to say goodbye now. Ta ta ta...
Chris Jordan: I think it is just about remembering what has worked for you. If you get hit, you go to plan B. Vince likes to get a feel and rhythm of the game. We know how he operates and we just follow suit. All our guys can bowl at any phase of the game. Our bowling attack is very balanced and can come in at any point. Jofra isn't playing tonight. We focus on execution. My last ball of my last set, I ended up overpitching it. I tried to get my length right. Luckily, I got Vince. We closed out the game after that. Nice calmness in the group. All conditions are different. Trying to stay fresh.
James Vince | Match Hero: Nice to get the win. Batting first found it to be a bit tricky, never know what was a good score but our bowling proved it was tough out there. We dovetailed really well, Craig and Akeal at the top and CJ and TM through the middle. It's tricky to be picking a side but that's the nature of this competition. Some good players sitting outside, good squads and we go to Oval next, conditions will dictate what team we will put up there.
21:16 Local Time, 20:16 GMT, 01:46 IST: Four wins from five for the Southern unit. And they continue to move northwards on the table. Welsh Fire were doused by the bowling from their opponents. Overton started it, Jordan and Mills just added more wickets to their tally. Earlier, Vince batted through and ensured that Southern Brave had a solid above-par score on board. That was tough out there as we witnessed when the Welsh team batted. The Brave unit used only five bowlers but all of them were spot on. Third loss for the Welsh unit. They need wins quite desperately from here on.
