So, that's it from our side. We witnessed a run-fest in Dallas tonight. Washington Freedom's unbeaten run finally came to an end but they still finish as the table toppers, courtesy their superior net run-rate. Join us tomorrow for the last league game of the season before the playoffs take off. Until next time, goodbye and cheers!
Corey Anderson: (On Krishnamurthi's knock) That was incredible, I'm not surprised, we have seem glimpses in the past, I'm really proud of him. He is only 20 and he has got a calm head on his shoulders. Little bit of a dead rubber game but pretty good game overall. Things happen very quickly in this format and so it's good to keep the momentum up. (On Hassan Khan) Early on, he didn't get a lot of crack but we all have seen the talent he has. He contributes in the middle order and bowls well too. You try and take what you can from these games. We have to be prepared well and we have a couple of day's break now.
Steve Smith: We played quite nicely, we were in for a big score and 177 was a pretty reasonable chase, they batted really well, it was a good game of cricket. Travis has batted beautifully since the last 12 to 18 months in this format. Today, I got a quick start and today he played second fiddle, it was a lovely partnership. I thought they batted really well tonight. It was quite difficult, the ball got wet and it was skidding on nicely. There's plenty to learn, it was a tough time to come and bowl, some good batters out there going hammer and tongs.
Sanjay Krishnamurthi | Player of the Match: I decided to go hard from the beginning, I wanted to take my chances and it came off today. I worked on my mental side, that helped me to play freely. I think it was dependent on a lot of factors, it was not turning much for the left-arm spinners, so I was trying to keep a calm head in the middle.
Josh Inglis: Pretty happy with my performance, would have liked to stay there till the end. I don’t really know to be honest, I tried to watch the balls as much as I could and it was my night. I do train for it a lot, I don’t have power of some of the other guys, I try to pick my shots. It gives a lot of confidence and momentum going into that game (Qualifier 1). Not sure about that, they have played brilliant cricket throughout and that's why they are on the top of the ladder. On the other hand, we are very confident going into that game. He showed a lot of promise in the other games and he delivered tonight, very happy for him.
23:29 Local Time, 04:29 GMT, 09:59 IST: The Unicorns have paced their run-chase to perfection in a rain-curtailed game.
