A maiden final for both teams and we'll have a new champion tomorrow. Will it be Knight's Spirit or Tammy Beaumont's Fire who'll confirm their top billing with a trophy tomorrow? Join us for the women's final in what should be a cracking contest. For now, cheers and bye..
Georgia Redmayne, Match Hero: Truly special. We came in with really good spirits into this game. We did the simple things right, bowled in really good areas to keep them to a good total. To get to a home final at Lord's, it's going to be incredible. It's nice knowing what kind of intent you got to get in with. Also helps having kept 100 balls beforehand. (On the bruises) I'll be fine, I'll take anti-inflammatory and I'll be fine. Our physio wanted to know if I was retiring and I said, "No way I'm retiring at the Oval when we need 6 more left." Pretty cool to be playing in front of such an incredible crowd and get the win for the team. (Plans for the final) Take it easy, we had a couple of days off, really nice sessions, same gameplan as today, make sure we do the simple things right with bat, ball and in the field.
16:51 Local Time, 15:51 GMT, 21:21 IST: A home final for London Spirit and they've earned it as well. It was the fielding which let the Oval Invincibles today, they were defending a modest score and they let their bowlers down in the field. Redmayne was dropped twice, Lanning was dropped and so was Heather Knight - you can't drop quality players and they certainly made the Invincibles pay. The left-hander anchored the chase and let her captain play the big shots - Knight remained unbeaten on a 23-ball 36* and the pair added 74 in an undefeated third wicket stand to seal victory. The Invincibles bowled well, but their catching was poor and they had too little to defend. A series that promised so much ends on a poor note, but they'll go back with their head held high.
