Since this is a practice game, no presentations, so we wind it up here. We will be back with more coverage tomorrow. Till then eat well and sleep tight. See you soon. Bye.
Kane Williamson: Just great to get through with some batting in the middle which is really nice. [on the injured knee] It has held up pretty well and some icing now which is a part of the process. Wasn't a reality 5 months ago, was fortunate with the recovery and nice to be named in the squad. Went pretty well and nice to build on that. A fantastic hit-out. Pakistan are an outstanding side. It is an exercise and nice to compete and do all those things. There's always things to work on, great batting performance on a really good surface. We head off to a different surface against a different opposition and we look forward to it ahead of our first game.
22:08 Local Time, 16:38 GMT, 22:08 IST: New Zealand made it look so so easy. Granted Shaheen Shah Afridi did not bowl but they have made mincemeat of a chase of 345. This after losing Conway to a golden duck early on. Ravindra set the tone with a superb innings and was unlucky to miss out on a deserved 100. Williamson got his much-needed batting practice in and retired after his 50. Mitchell and Chapman contributed with fifties with the left-hander's a smashing innings. New Zealand looked in cruise-control for most parts and certainly have made a statement with this win against a good Pakistan attack. The pitch was easy to bat on under lights but apart from Usama Mir with his leggies, the other Pakistan bowlers did not have anything to trouble New Zealand. To win chasing 346 with 6.2 overs to spare shows how dominant New Zealand were.
