So that's it from us for today. We will be back with more BBL action as it happens. For other cricket, keep following Cricbuzz. For now it's bye bye.

Xavier Bartlett | Player of the Match: Great to get the win. Over the moon, was a good night. We spoke of how the whole squad was going to win us the tournament. Good to contribute. They are class-acts and they are really calm heads and class players [Khawaja and Marnus]. It will be a challenge to go up against one of the benchmark sides in Sydney. It's going to be a tough game at the SCG but hopefully we win.

22:24 Local Time, 11:24 GMT, 16:54 IST: Easy chase this for the Heat. Usman Khawaja and Josh Brown set them on their way and then Hain and Renshaw finished it off. The opening partnership was key and once again Khawaja was superb, carrying on his rich form. After Brown fell, Marnus came and along with Khawaja put them on the road to a win. The Surge was taken to finish it off quickly but both batters fell to give the Renegades a chance but the duo of Hain and Renshaw did not allow any of that as they completed the job with 7 balls to spare. The Renegades are out while the Heat will go to face the Sixers in the Challenger for a place in the final. Stay tuned to find out who the Player of the Match is.
