So the Scorchers go to a home final while the Sixers will have another chance to get there. That's it from us for today. Till next time take care and be well. And keep following Cricbuzz for all the action and other stuff. Ta, ta!

Ashton Turner | Player of the Match: Satisfying to get over the line. Since the final last year, we've been ready to play the final anywhere, but obviously helps to play at home. Sixers were really good this season, they deserved to be in the top-two, so to beat them is special. Good to be able to stay in Perth for a few more days. We knew that the wicket can be tricky a bit with the new ball, Abbott and Dwarshuis swung it a bit, they got some key wickets. We've played here long enough to know that you still have to be positive, can't get into a shell. Backed ourselves to play the brand of cricket all season, which is to be brave and we've chased totals all season. We need to be prepared for every scenario. Preparation has been fluid. We know these conditions really well and we feel like we have gotten into some good habits. We have been to learn, improve and correct our mistakes. We feel our blueprint is pretty ready. Confidence is a good thing, when you have it, got to cash in. I've also been lucky to have some guys above me scoring lots of runs. Myself and Hobson haven't had a lot of things to do with the bat.

19:13 Local Time, 11:13 GMT, 16:43 IST: What a chase this is from Bancroft and Turner. The Scorchers confirm a home final by virtue of this win. It looked trouble for the Scorchers at 24/3 as Sean Abbott got the top-order and the Sixers were on fire. But Bancroft and Turner turned it on and made sure there were no other mishaps on the way. They were helped by Sixers' shoddy fielding with drops and a terrible miscommunication between DC and Philippe at a crucial phase in the game which effectively killed the Sixers' hopes. The wicket was made to look flat by both batters who judged the chase superbly. A captain's knock from Turner who also made his highest BBL score ever - what a time and place to do it. Stay tuned to find out who the Player of the Match is.
