Cameron Bancroft | Player of the Match: I don't know how to describe what was going on there in the last 10 overs. It was all happening. We made it exciting. At the end of the day the main goal was to win and get a home final and we've done that so it's fantastic. I tried to pace my innings as well as I could, managed to hit the boundaries and just when we felt like taking the Power Surge we lost wickets, so had to rebuild again. I felt like I hit the ball well tonight.

Shaun Marsh started well but he fell at the wrong time and then the Renegades struggled. Finch especially in the first half of his innings struggled for any sort of fluency as he mistimed shots. The asking rate got out of hand and that's when he found his timing. 31 came off Andrew Tye's over and suddenly 37 were needed off 2 overs but the Scorchers held their nerve to close it out. In the end Finch's 76 off 35 may seem to be a sensational innings but it was far from it. The Renegades are still not out of the playoffs race but would certainly need a win in their last game to ensure qualification. Stay tuned to know who the Player of the Match is.
