Excellent effort from Heat who defended 154. Matt Kuhnemann started it off with Head's wicket in the first over and despite Lynn and Short looking dangerous, the Heat got them out at the right stage. All the bowlers worked together with Spencer Johnson bowling extremely quick in the high 140s. James Bazley got the big wickets and CdG's comical run-out was the last straw for the Strikers. Khawaja marshalled his bowlers well who were right on the money in a pressure game. The Strikers would be disappointed at not chasing down 155 with Short and Lynn in good form.
