The result has shown here after the practice before the tournament. I just see the ball and play. Batting with Jaiswal is good, he tells me what to do and he infuses positive things. It has been a dream to get a 100 in the IPL and today it materialised. There is no fear. I don't think much, I just focus on playing.
Riyan Parag: It was incredible. We spent 2 months with him and seen what we can do. And to do it against world-class bowlers against GT, words can't express. We changed it from the last game, we were thinking how can we finish this a little earlier, bat with real intent. We practised a lot and we implemented it today, it came off. Jaiswal: Incredible innings, one of the best I've seen. Hope he'll keep doing it for us for a long time. I was just telling him to keep going. He was incredible today. He just played amazing shots. He works hard in the nets, we can see that. He has the game, he has the temperament and mentality. Wish him all the luck, and he should do well. We were talking about that. Somebody needs to stay and finish the game. Last few games we haven't finished the game. But we tried our best. I feel whoever is in the middle, that guy has to make sure to take the responsibility. Luckily I was there today and I tried my best. Our coach has told us to take one game at a time. We will give hundred percent in each and every game. In the end it's a beautiful day and a beautiful game of cricket, we need to enjoy it.
Shubman Gill: They took the game away from us in the powerplay and credit to them for that. There were a couple of things we could have done better but it's very easy to sit out and say those things. Some chances came early our way, couldn't grab those but in hindsight I think there are some areas we need to work on as a team. (On sitting out) Felt a little back spasm in my back and we have a game couple of days after this, so the physio didn't want to take any chance. What happened in the previous match - win or lose - we take one game as it is. The next match is at Ahmedabad, we have had a good run there, hopefully we'll be able to continue that. (On Vaibhav Suryavanshi) His hitting was tremendous and he made full use of his day.
