Welcome back to the chase. As I said, we have history rewritten. Vaibhav Suryavamshi is RR's impact substitute and he's out in the middle with Yashasvi Jaiswal. One is 14, the other is 23, together they're 7 years younger than MS Dhoni, the oldest player of this IPL season. Sandeep Sharma is the man OUT
Aiden Markram: Not too bad, to be honest. Was thinking 180 while we were out in the middle through the whole time, so chuffed that we got there at the end. Got a bit slower, slightly on the lower side as well. Often you can think 200 and big scores but I am happy with 180 and I feel we are in the game with that score. (Advice to the bowlers) Not to over complicate tings, in the powerplay the ball comes better but hanging in there, if we can take 1 or 2 it'll help. Then it does get slower post powerplay. If we can get off to a good start and control that middle hitting good lengths and not giving too much room, it gives us a good chance. Klaas (Klaasen) and I are really close as well, quite difficult to do what he does as he's bit of a freak but to pick his brains and giving it a crack is what T20 cricket is about. Great to be able to learn from him. (On his partnership with Badoni) Massive knock for us, he keeps growing, great confidence. In terms of conversation, kept encouraging him to take on his strengths.
