Siraj to Jaiswal, no run, beaten! Fullish and angling away, Jaiswal looks to drive and misses
They have two close men at cover now, mid-off, square third man and fine leg

Siraj to Jaiswal, wide, and now he overcorrects and fires down leg

Siraj to Jaiswal, wide, another sprayed ball wide of off stump. Not the ideal start from GT. Can't waste the new ball

Siraj to Jaiswal, no run

Siraj to Jaiswal, FOUR, oh they have acres of open spaces at cover and there is no deep fielder either.

Siraj to Jaiswal, wide, oh dear! Starts with a wayward wide delivery outside off stump, ignored
Jaiswal and Samson are at the crease. Jaiswal is on strike. Siraj will open the attack
Out come the players to resume the second innings. Siraj will be a key bowler for GT as they look for early inroads. Can RR negotiate the new ball without any damage?
Sai Sudharsan in Ahmedabad Inns: 15 Runs: 822 Avg: 58.71 SR: 156.27 50s/100s: 6/1
Sai Sudharsan: The surface was swinging a bit at the start but the wicket was good to bat on. He (Jofra) started well but we consolidated after. We understood the wicket was really good so we wanted to push a bit more. The way we were going, we felt we could get 15 more but this is still a great score. I feel dew won’t come on today. As a team, we try to keep wickets in hand and go hard in the last five overs. I’m not trying to be consistent in any way, just reacting to the situation and doing the best out of it. (If Jofra is the quickest bowler he’s faced) I faced Nortje last year, but he was probably quicker. He got a bit of purchase of the wicket as well today. Slower ones and change of pace will hold on the wicket, so I feel we have a good score.
217 is a solid total, but it's chasable here. GT will get more purchase with the new ball in the second innings than RR so the top three batters will have to be smart

Sandeep Sharma to Rahul Tewatia, no run, good slower ball bumper, Tewatia looks to pull and misses

Sandeep Sharma to Rahul Tewatia, SIX, it's such a sight to watch this guy go down on one knee and play the slog-sweep in the air and all the way for a six. Slot from Sandeep Sharma, Tewatia nailed that nicely for six more
