Conditions: Looks like a belter of a wicket. A fantastic wicket, reckons Mitchell Starc. Need to hit the top of the off-stump and get some swing early on by pitching it up. Spinners are going to be a crucial match-up against Sciver-Brunt.
Teams:
England Women (Playing XI): Tammy Beaumont, Maia Bouchier, Heather Knight(c), Nat Sciver-Brunt, Danielle Wyatt-Hodge, Amy Jones(w), Alice Capsey, Charlotte Dean, Sophie Ecclestone, Lauren Filer, Lauren Bell
Australia Women (Playing XI): Alyssa Healy(w/c), Phoebe Litchfield, Ellyse Perry, Beth Mooney, Annabel Sutherland, Ashleigh Gardner, Tahlia McGrath, Alana King, Kim Garth, Megan Schutt, Darcie Brown
nullHeather Knight: Would have bowled first as well. We need to bat well and put up a good score. It (Womens Ashes) is the biggest challenge, we are super excited. 2023 Ashes was the best series, I think this will be exactly similar. Cross has the back issue, we got two exciting fast bowlers though. Really excited to watch them bowl.
Alyssa Healy: We are going to bowl. It's (Womens Ashes) huge. It's something really special. Having them (England team) here, going to be good times. There will be little bit on offer early on. We need to take early wickets and restrict them. We'll see how the series unfolds. No team changes as compared to the last game.
Australia Women have won the toss and have opted to field
