Noor Ahmad: It's a tough competition but I want to keep it simple from my side and it works for me. I always want to be attacking which gives me good results always and I always try to land the ball in the right area so it’s make a difference. (On having bowled in the powerplay in other T20 leagues) It’s something I did in the past so it will be good to try it here. (On Keshav Maharaj) He is a good leader, we haven’t had good results this season but if you see the last season, he handled everything well.
Dunith Wellalage: First time I’m in South Africa, first of all I want to thank the Royals for this opportunity and I want to thank Kumar sir for supporting me. We have a good bowling attack, especially the spinners. We support each other and we have good confidence. I’m always simple with my plans, the Paarl wicket is a bit slow so I try to vary my pace and bowl wicket-to-wicket.
We have made one change to our expert XI. Have a look at our new and improved team.
Pitch Report: It's a used track so there's no great improvement. So, the surface is abrasive. The batters need to use the crease as much as they can because nothing is coming onto the bat, so they have to make their own pace. The spinners bowling 20 overs in an innings in the previous game is crazy. It's not going to change much. There's a stiff breeze coming across the ground so that will have an effect on which side of the ground you got to target, reckon Mike Haysman and Shaun Pollock.
David Miller: Actually, what we wanted to do, we wanted to bowl first. This being a night game so it might get better in the second innings. We have done well here, we have won four out of four games here. We have got one change.
Keshav Maharaj: We will have a bat first.

Durban Super Giants have won the toss and have opted to bat
16:30 Local Time, 14:30 GMT, 20:00 IST: Paarl Royals are set to host the Durban Super Giants at Boland Park – it’s the clash of the table toppers against the table laggards. The Royals have had an outstanding season so far and have already become the first team to have qualified for the playoffs. The hosts have won six out of their seven games and are on a five-match winning streak. Joe Root has been a revelation for the Royals he has hit a purple patch with the bat and has also been more than handy with his off-spinners. PR have been firing on all cylinders. The Giants, on the other hand, have had a torrid time. DSG have lost five games and won only a solitary game while their other two games were washed out. Even if they win their remaining two league games, it’s unlikely that they will make it to the playoffs.
