After starting the season with 3 losses on the trot, the two-time champions SEC bounced back strongly and registered back to back wins in their next two games. Their latest was a comfortable 6 wicket win over the Super Giants. Marco Jansen has been superb for them with both bat and ball and experienced players have started coming to the party when needed. The Capitals, meanwhile, have quite literally had a stop-start kind of tournament so far.
