The players are out in the middle and we're ready for the start of Game 8. DSG will start with some spin and it's Subrayen
We've made one change to our pre-toss expert XI. Have a look before you make your fantasy picks.
Pitch Report - Looks like the pace is up and the ball will come onto the bat nicely, quips Allan Donald, in his pitch reading. 'It's dry, hopefully it'll skid under lights, I've played in the Highveld for the last 10 overs, here, the conditions do change', says Junior Dala. 'Bit of rain around in the last week, interesting how this plays', says Dwaine Pretorius. 'It's a good wicket, bit more grass than normal, it's a bit drier than the last wicket, it will not turn a lot', says Heinrich Klassen
Keshav Maharaj - We would have batted first, but we'll look to make inroads early on. It was good to start off with a win, keep building and keep fighting. All the teams in the competition, qualification depends on how well you play at home, the crowds coming in and supporting us have been very good for us. Just one change - Prenayan Subrayen comes in place of Dwaine Pretorius
Faf du Plessis - We'll have a bat. Not 100% sure, they batted first after winning the toss, going with the local knowledge. Durban has been terrible with rain, we're lucky to have got a game, sun is out, two great teams competing and we're looking forward to it. Over the last two seasons, we lacked a bit of batting depth, we've made some improvements, the perfect brand of cricket needs some batting depth. Gerald Coetzee is fit and he's back, so is Imran Tahir

Joburg Super Kings have won the toss and have opted to bat
4:15 pm local: It is Durban Super Giants taking on Joburg Super Kings tonight at Kingsmead. Durban played their first two encounters against the Capitals from Pretoria. One of them was a rained out affair with teams splitting points whereas the next one was a thriller where Naveen-ul-Haq held his nerve to deliver a win for the Giants. Joburg also had a rain-marred game against the Mumbai Indians Cape Town They won that by 6 runs thanks to DLS calculations. But both teams would want to pick up the points on offer as these are early days in the tourney and as such wins would set the tone going forward. Toss and sheets in a while.
