Charith Asalanka - We're going to bowl first, main thinking is that dew might come later on. The pitch looks the same as last night, we want to start well. One change - Dunith Wellalage replaces Dilshan Madushanka.
The players' fitness will be tested today - it's very hot, humid and dry, the temperature is 32 degrees, but it feels hotter. There are a lot of cracks around, so it wouldn't be straightforward to bat, the spinners will come into play, it'll slow down and a score around 270 could be very competitive, reckons Farveez Maharoof, in his pitch report.
Maheesh Theekshana - I want to calm myself before bowling, so I think about my family and fiancee. In ODIs, the first two years I played, I went with the basic field ]plan. But then I went out and when I came back, I changed my bowling according to the fielding standards. I tend to bowl quicker when batters attack and that has given me results. We have a good team, tough competition and that makes you put your hand up and help the team. We played the World Cup in India, I had to learn a lot because the wickets were flat, in New Zealand, it's quick and I had to change my way of bowling.

13:30 Local Time, 08:00 GMT, 13:30 IST: Sri Lanka completed a convincing victory in a rain-hit 1st ODI and the teams have now travelled from Dambulla to Pallekele for the remaining two games of the white-ball series. Chasing a revised score of 220 in 27 overs, the visitors fell well short and lost the game by a big margin of 27 runs. But they did show their ability to bounce back from a heavy defeat in the 2-match T20I series and they'll need to reproduce some of that if they're to keep the series alive today. It's a bright Sunday with plenty of blue skies and plenty of heat today and hopefully we'll not have any rain breaks. Toss and team news coming up shortly..
