DAY 3:
18:32 Local Time, 05:32 GMT, 11:02 IST: NZ lead by 340 runs with 7 wickets in hand. That screams of domination! NZ's last pair added 32 runs and batted till drinks to frustrate the England team. Santner fell off the first ball after drinks and NZ closed at 347 for the first innings. Then England started off on a postive note but once their openers fell, the procession of wickets didn't stop. Henry, O'Rourke and Santner shared the spoils as England were shunted out for only 143 runs in their first essay. NZ had a chance to enforce the follow-on but they decided to bat again. Latham and Young started well. But Latham fell. KW walked in and together with Young, they added 89 runs for the second wicket. Young got a fifty and perished but KW is still there and has managed to score his fifty. Day 3 is expected to be full of runs as NZ would look to settle down for the long haul. But we will be there to detail out the exact narrative. Bye bye for now...
