The New Zealand batters were simply outclassed by the two England pacers who took four wickets each and helped the visitors achieve a huge first innings lead of 155 runs. The England batters came out with a positive mindset and all guns blazing, however, Henry dismissed Crawley for the fourth time in the series. Bethell and Duckett kept the scoreboard ticking though and the two southpaws put the opposition bowlers under pressure by scoring boundaries at regular intervals. With more than 60 overs remaining in the day, England will be looking forward to stretching that lead past the 400-run mark and setting a challenging target for the hosts.
