While Kane Williamson made the runs at the top of the order, it was Phillips's turn to marshall the lower-order. He added vital runs for the last 3 wickets and took the score from 252 for 7 to 348 all-out. For England, Carse and Bashir finished with four apeice while Atkinson grabbed two.
