If the road is easy, then maybe you are going the wrong way. The road ahead for Bangladesh might well be a rough terrain. And they know bouncing back from this loss would be tough especially away from home. Windies these days are an organized Test team at home. But Bangladesh did manage to disturb the Applecart of the Pakistanis and ruffled a few Indian feathers as well. They would be hoping for a turnaround. Mehidy Hasan Miraz: I think we bowled well. Taskin got six wickets, but they had a good partnership.
Justin Greaves, Player of the Match:
Shamar Joseph: Coming in and been embraced by them, they (senior bowlers) teach us (youngsters) a lot. We just need to enjoy our cricket, we enjoy as a group. Wherever we are, at the hotel, at the ground, we enjoy every bit of it.
Justin Greaves: In the first innings got two wickets, was a bonus. My job was to hold things up. In the second innings, these guys handled it pretty well. It's a fantastic quartet we have.
Jayden Seales: We are well complemented because of the pace of Alzarri and Shamar. I enjoyed every bit of it. Test cricket is about having fun on the field, having banter with the batters, it's a part of the game.
Alzarri Joseph: It's a pleasure been among these guys. It's a good challenge amongst us (in the nets.) It's always good to put up such a performance at home. It's upto me to make my own path going forward.
Kemar Roach: A fantastic group of guys and a fantastic effort, extremely proud of them (all pacers.) As a unit, I am happy to be a part of it. We need greener pitches, bouncier pitches. Going forward we are going to give the best to the West Indies fans. We are going to plan and come hard again (in the second Test.) Once we enter the field, we are going to our best effort.
