Charith Asalanka: I would have done the same thing if I had won the toss. Nothing changes; we have to do well in all three departments. Same team. The morale is up and we want to perform like the last game.
Rovman Powell: We are gonna bat first. It looks a very dry wicket, we are also bringing another spinner. Hopefully we can put the runs on the board. We have two changes. They put the conditions in their favour but you still need to play good cricket. I think 140 will be a par total on this surface.

West Indies have won the toss and have opted to bat
18:00 Local Time, 12:30 GMT, 18:00 IST: Sri Lankan cricket of late has been touching a few highs. They beat India at home in an ODI series. That happened after long. They beat England in a Test away from home. That again happened after a long time. This unit under Sanath Jayasuriya's guidance has tried to land punches above their weight and a few of them have landed right. But consistency is the key. This series started with a loss but they were quick to bounce back in the next. West Indies themselves have been trying to stay relevant in every format. This format suits their style the most and time and again they have proved their mettle. A win will hand them a series win and that would be a massive shot in their arm.
18:00 Local Time, 12:30 GMT: Hello and welcome to the decider of this 3-match series. West Indies took a 1-0 lead with a convincing win in the first T20I, Sri Lanka stormed back to level the series in the second and here we are for the third game. The visitors will hope it is a different pitch and one that does not aid the home spinners. The second T20I was played on the same pitch as the first and the Sri Lankan spinners run riot, picking 9 out of the 10 wickets and skittling West Indies for 89. Rovman Powell, the West Indies captain, was not pleased with the pitch and showed his displeasure known in the post-match presentation where he called it not a T20 cricket wicket. Since it is a decider we should ideally have a new pitch but let's see what's on offer. Toss and teams coming up.. Stay tuned
