Dasun Shanaka: It’s been really good for me, the captain has given me a role and I’m enjoying that role, especially with my bowling. I feel good that I’m able to bowl in the powerplay and I’m happy that the captain has shown trust in me. I’m playing with the same intensity, whenever I go out I try to give my best. Whenever I go in the middle, I try to deliver and I’m confident about that. We need to make sure not to repeat the same mistake that we did in the last game, till 15 overs we will right there but we lost it in the last moments, we need to make sure we keep up the intensity throughout the game.

Slightly gloomy conditions, same pitch that was used yesterday where a lot of runs were scored. The grass covering is good and there’s a lot of hardness. I’m not surprised that Hasaranga won the toss and chose to bowl because the pitch is good and there's the wind factor as well. I reckon 180-190 is still a par score on this pitch, mentions Farvez Maharoof in the pitch report
