Bangladesh have won the toss and have opted to field
14:00 Local Time, 08:00 GMT, 13:30 IST: The stage is set nicely for the final T20I of the series with both teams having won one game each. The first game turned out to be a cracking contest in which Bangladesh fell just 3 short of chasing 207. The second game dished out another batting beauty but Sri Lanka were below par with their batting efforts. The Bangladeshi bowlers do deserve credit for a disciplined performance. Bangladesh were clinical in the run-chase and won with consumate ease. Shanto returned to form as he scored an unbeaten fifty and that’s a good sign for the home side. Bangladesh head coach Chandika Hathurusingha said on the eve of the match that they are trying to prepare as well as they can for the forthcoming T20 World Cup as there are lots of unknown factors. He believes that playing on good surfaces will augur well for them before the mega event. Meanwhile, for Sri Lanka, Pathirana has been ruled out for this game due to a hamstring injury. Nuwan Thushara is a like-to-like replacement for Pathirana and they would be tempted to slot him in. Can the visitors rise to the occasion and clinch the final? Or will the hosts steal the limelight with another impressive performance? Stick around for the toss and team lineups...
