17:45 Local Time, 07:15 GMT, 12:45 IST: It's a tradition to have the New Year's Eve Big Bash encounter at the beautiful Adelaide Oval. Hello everyone. It's #4 vs #5. After three heavy losses, Melbourne Stars have now won two on the bounce. Haris Rauf, after going wicketless in his first two matches, has now picked back-to-back three-fers. Usama Mir is doing a fine job in the middle overs. The batting unit is strong but they are yet to fire as a unit. Maxwell and Co. will be keen to keep the winning momentum going. Adelaide, on the other hand, come into this match on the back of two successive losses.  They'll hope to bounce back as they return home, where they registered their only win of this season. The Stars won the last two encounters against the Strikers with Stoinis (who's currently out of form) starring with a 35-ball 74 in the previous New Year's Eve match. Can Adelaide put on a good show in front of their fans? Let's hope we are treated to a thriller. Bat-flip and team updates coming up in a bit...
