Welcome back for the chase! It's a good track to bat on but there's some extra bounce and seam movement for the pacers if they are willing to bend their backs. The first powerplay will be crucial from the point of view of both sides. Will dew come into play? Let's see. The Sri Lankan players are having a discussion amongst themselves.
The big talking point of course was the dismissal of Mathews who was adjudged to be timed out. It was the first time in men's international cricket that a batter was timed out.

Charith Asalanka: It’s always good feeling when you are getting a hundred and I’m feeling happy now. (On Mathews' timed out dismissal) My point of view it’s not good for the spirit of the game. After that, Dhananjaya came and we had a good partnership. I’m loving to have a partnership with Dhananjaya because he is a right-hander and I’m a left-hander and he always scores quickly. Credit should go to the pitches, because we can hit the ball through the line. When I was batting, I was looking for 300 but unfortunately, I got out in the 49th over. But, I think we have got enough.
17:47 Local Time, 12:17 GMT, 17:47 IST: Sri Lanka finish with 279 which doesn't look too great when compared with some of the earlier matches we've had at this venue. But there did seem to be a bit more movement for the pacers today.
