Deepak Hooda | Rajasthan captain: We were also looking to bat first but we don't mind bowling with the attack we have. The way batters have responded this year has been very good
Mayank Agarwal | Karnataka captain: We would like to bat first. Semifinal game, so put runs on the board and there is no dew here in the second half as we saw yesterday.
Pitch report: Pitch has been rolled in nicely, looks hard and looks balanced. There's not a lot of grass on this one. Ball tends to do a bit under lights. Batting first will be a good option - opines Manvinder Bisla
Karnataka have won the toss and have opted to bat
Good afternoon! Yesterday Haryana continued their unbeaten run in the tournament and advanced to their first ever Vijay Hazare Trophy final by downing five-time champs Tamil Nadu. Today we have four-time winners Karnataka taking on Rajasthan, who are eyeing their maiden final berth as well. Just like Haryana, Rajasthan enter this contest having won all games so far, while Karnataka picked up their lone loss at the hands of Haryana. Yesterday we saw the new ball move around a little bit more in the second innings than the first innings. Overall, it was a pretty good pitch to bat on with some turn on offer. What's in store for us today? We'll get to know shortly.
