21:38 local: Warwickshire fought really hard to take it to the last over, but unfortunately they just didn't have enough runs on the board to create that extra pressure on the lower-order batters. Essex got off to a flier and knocked off 69 in the powerplay. Post the powerplay, Lawrence dropped anchor and the rest of the batters took the aggressive route to help their side get close to the finish line. There were slight moments of panic towards the end with a flurry of untimely wickets, but Essex's good work with the ball and their powerplay effort with the bat helped them seal the deal with a ball to spare. So, Essex are the first side to clinch their spot for the Finals day. Who will join them? It's all to play for tomorrow as six teams battle it out for a place in Edgbaston. Do remember to tune in for that. Cheers!!

Hannon-Dalby to Snater, SIX, the Dutch are unstoppable today. It's Snater, the hero for Essex. He clears his front leg, waits for a slower length delivery and tonks it many-a-mile back over the bowler's head to seal a spot in the finals day.

Drakes to Harmer, out Harmer Run Out!! Okay! So, Harmer mistimed the drive to the right of the keeper and ran straight into the bowler. He was ball-watching briefly and ended up crashing into Drakes to lose pace in the sprint. The keeper had the presence of mind and lobbed the throw to Hain who completes the formalities. Alex Davies was asked if he wanted to appeal for that and looks like he has left it to the telly umpire who's given it out after a couple of replays. Harmer run out (Alex Davies/Robert Yates) 19(15) [4s-1 6s-1]

Drakes to Lawrence, out Caught by (sub)Ethan Brookes!! Short and wide of off, Lawrence looks to flay it over point and slices it off the thick top-edge towards third man where Brookes takes a splendid catch diving forward. He literally took it inches above the turf there. Lawrence c (sub)Ethan Brookes b Drakes 62(49) [4s-7]
